Do not raise the volume to an uncomfortable level. Not hearing the preview alone is not a hearing-test result.
If hearing drops suddenly over hours or a few days, seek medical help urgently, preferably today. This is especially important if it affects one ear or comes with new ringing, dizziness, pain or discharge.
